OK - Someone had to do this...If we are going to endure 2:20+ of listening to this knucklehead then we should at least have some fun and document some of his better line...

'1 gallon of perspiration'
'reasonable pace'
'the hills they trained on were tougher than the hills here today'

Well, it only took 3K for him to mention leg turnover....
"31 seconds astern of the leaders"
What are they on a boat or something?
So happy I'm watching this on Canadian TV so I can avoid Rawson.
I see they're wearing chips, anybody know any site for splits?
Larry's commentary is driving me nuts. If he incorrectly states how they are running slow one more time, i'm going to smash the television to pieces.
Let's see here. 5:20 is 2:20 pace. Only what 3 women have ever broken that? Isn't that correct? They are running basically 5:30 pace here.
He keeps commenting how it's 95 degrees out there. that's only worth 10 seconds a mile? You've got to be kidding me.
I'm quite honestly that there are that many people up there and think Deena is being smart. Play it conservative. We're only 5.5 miles in.
"paula, watching the leg turnover, picking things up inexorably"
larry's learning some big words
you've got to be kidding me . . .he just compared picking up water bottles to NASCAR!
The worst thing about Larry is when he tries to relate personally to the runners...for example, when talking about Wahbe --
"It seems like she has a side stitch. Those are very painful...it makes it difficult to breathe. I have had a few of those in my career and they are painful."
Friggin' idiot. However, I am just delighted that they are actually showing the marathon in its entirety on television...so, I will find a way to put up with Rawson.
Hoovis
Who just hit the ground at the 10K water station?
Was that Ndereba?
"...the body can sell itself out at any time...."
LOL
Yeah, 'precision'...then 2 runners hit the deck.
Geezzzzzzzz...
Check out the English language businesses on the course, big signs
Toyota
McDonald's
Perfect Pet
LOL
Radcliffe's not ducking, she's running from the front...ballsy.
Who's the boy running behind Paula? He's got on a blue and white adidas outfit.
how did i miss this one: "......these women's have V-8 engines in tiny bodies..."
I'm just waiting for the inevitable reference to how many football fields long the marathon is and how fast I'm going to have to run around my local high school track to understand how fast these women are running...
Ethiopian hurling on camera...boy can any of us relate to that?
Why subject yourself? Watch the race on NBC, listen on Eurosport.
"the human body was only designed to run about 20 miles as its limit"
"I'm surprised that Alemu is wearing green....."
"....their singlets are perforated...."
something to the effect...
"the hills are more than twice the incline of the hills in the Boston Marathon"
The Boston Marathon DROPS 400 feet over its course and it's the downhills that hurt you in Boston. Jeeeebuzzzzzzz!!!
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
