Do you take the one Kenyan vs the field? Probably
Rowbury wins
8:41. Anderson 2nd, Huddle 3rd.
Hasay HUGE PR.
wow 60 sec last lap for Rowbury
Wot up with moser? Dnf after dfl at Monaco?
I was rooting for Rowbury! glad to see her with a win. she ran very confidently. Maybe she can finally dip under 4mins in one of the post-worlds DL meets -- wouldn't it figure if she'd finally break that barrier in the first year she didn't make the 1500 team. the 5k strength training has gotta help.
Rowbury looked very strong and destroyed Huddle in the last 100m. Leader to leader it was 60, so Rowbury was sub 60. I had to open a high window so I missed the previous couple of laps. Anderson also gapped Huddle in the last fifty. Huddle's a very strong runner with limited kick. Of course she's not in 14:44 shape this year yet. I thought this might be pretty slow but probably Huddle picked it way up the last few minutes. Surprisingly, the Kenyan woman fell way back. Good for Hasay to stay in the top five or six up to the 200m mark and not sure how she finished but nice improvement. Rowbury's run low 8:30s before but she showed that in a slow sit and kick 5000m, she can possibly contend for a medal, because a sub 60 close is about what it takes in the 1500m, though she's got some top talent to beat in the 5000m with ferocious kicks.
What a shame Rowbury isn't on the 1500m team. She is coming into great form!
About 8:46 for Hasay. Look for low 31s in Moscow.

Reid still ahead of Hasay. Fine pr for Kim Conley as well. Much of the field pr'd. After the race, the camera lingered on Brie Felnagle, knowing no doubt that her 8:52 was a pr?
ya, lets see Reid run a 10K, rofl.
Nice pick up of $2500 for Hasay.
Betting tip - Uceny will take a dive on lap 3 ;)
Moser seems to be struggling since winning her US title. Wondering what is up and if she'll bounce back in time for Moscow.
Weird race that women's 1500. The home stretch looked like the finish of a fun run.
What a weird race by Mary Cain...
