PR or no PR?
Better shot at the win but I would not be surprised if she ran a PR. Just looks like a slow race on paper.
i'll bet yes, because you have a fair number of non-1500m WC runners in there who just want to run a fast race. like rowbury
i'll be that it goes pretty close to 4 flat and whether cain breaks 4 or not just depends on her tactics. she's been going wide a lot which gives her extra yards to run. cant be running extra yards in a sub-4 attempt
Rowbury is in the 3k. I agree it looks like a slower race, with a win more likely than a PR for Cain.
London was 81 deg at 6 p.m., going down just to 73 by 9 p.m.

Not too bad for the 1500m/mile but still too hot, and the 3k'll be affected a bit more.
I thought London was cold, cloudy and dreary.

This month has been fairly oppressive in the UK. Haven't you noticed?
No PR. She'll never set another PR.
Cain has been great every race so far and I don't see how a 17 year old can get through the entire season at this level w/o a clunker. All of the rest of the team (except Farah of course)has had at least one outlier result in 2013.
Hopefully, Rupp and Centro will show evidence that they are moving forward to a peak in Moscow.

You see the future? Perfect. Tell me what I'll have for lunch next Tuesday. I'm keen to know.
Race is up next...
Europe's hot right now. The prediction for Berlin tomorrow is as high as 98! But then much cooler Monday and after.
No PR.

maybe she should have made a minimove in the 350-300 to go section, to get up a bit. She was running outside anyway.
not a bad result for a first off the plane 17 year old amateur's race. 5th place gets you a check that makes the trip profitable- were she a pro.
