It seemed to me, that with her surge with 400 to go she was right on what she needed to be. A 69 second final quarter seemed within her, however, right around 200, she seemed to just maintain rather then attack. It would seem that she might have thought she had the standard easily, as even the announcer stated that. With 100 to go, there was no charge towards the finish line, but a maintaining of her current turnover. Having said that, the pace may have seemed slightly all over the place, but when they were hitting 76-77, Jordan maintained contact, but anything slightly faster she started dropping back. The pacers were told to slow and let her catch back up, hence several 77s towards the end when she was starting to hurt. Maybe she could have got a second or two with ahrlin with her on the last lap, but when she made her move, it was best to let her do the attacking, rather then rig up trying to accellerate with someone pulling away. I think if you can make it to the last lap not having to lead, you should be able to hurt enough to give a go for 60 seconds of pain just my two cents.
