How unhealthy can a runner eat and still be successful?
For example, one of my friends eats whatever the hell he wants, drinks soda and goes to fast food places every week, but he still runs 5:06 for the mile.
My other friend always stays on an extremely strict diet, he never eats anything bad and turned down pizza at a party. They're pretty much on two opposite ends. Yet, he runs a 4:57 mile.
