Bump
9k in 24:15 dejen still leading
Sub 27 maybe????
sure!!!
500 to go d still leading
Dejen 26:51, kuma 26:52, imane below 27, i think.... Does this mean no Kb in 10k in moscow???
Bekele really does not deserve to go to Moscow. If he goes it will only be because his name is Kenenisa Bekele not because he is good enough. Dejen is the biggest threat to Rupp and Farah as of now.
This adds a huge amount of interest to the WC 10K. I note that Gebremeskel led a lot, he wanted to make his mark, serve notice. Thanks much for the report!
Last lap was 57, i think... Really good race, rabbit took them only to3k, then Dejen all the way... I hope dejen doubles in wc
Galen rupp has something to fear. Reminds me of anakin skywalker from the firat trilogy. Has a terrible temper, goes to the "dark side" slays youglings and then gets beaten by his best friend. He recovers and all the ethiopians and kenyans are caught and he's the only one of his kind left. But mo farah has escaped and knows of Galen's son who will bring balance back to track and field. Also salazar is the emperor and nike is the empire. Ben true is Han Solo.
I am watching it live at the stadium, so no live stream
Women 10k now.. 1k in 3:01 i only know defar
Does this mean dibaba is not running the 10k even though she has run 30:26 today and what about hagos?
2k in 6:07
3k in 9:08, i think
5k in 15:13, i think and defar clear now about 10m
ethiopian wrote:They just did the 5k in 13:23 and looking really good
good pace but have to remember, this was a tt but vastly tempered with no risk of losing
( even 2nd place in a big sub-27 may not be picked for wc )
solo from 3k out probably worth 5s from lack of drafting to 5k in "classical" 10k tts
so we are talking a 26'46 calibre performance with paramount factor being not to lose once knowing final clocking woud be below-27 ( known from gun with this calibre )
you can bet your house the winner is in sub-sub-26'40 shape ( throw in a sub extra & subways is finished )
Defar clear now about 50 m.... Defar doing around 72 laps... ...7k in 21:17
