Sure. The bonus averages out to $778 per employee, and your article states that they are merit based and legally required as part of the collective bargaining agreement.
$778 is chump change. I used to get bonuses over $20k every year.
The number of IRS employees has dropped over the last 2 years from 100k to 90k. Presumably they are as productive as they were with 10k more workers.
IRS agents should be deported.

I always get a kick out of "patriots" who don't want to pay taxes and also build a personal arsenal in case the guvmint goes all communisty and needs to be overthrown.
This is why Obama plays the Republican like a mangy dog.
To me its obvious that the "IRS/Tea Party" scandal is an Obama scandal. Its been shown that IRS employees were just following orders just like a good soldier follows orders when politicians tell them to go to Afghanistan and knock down doors of innocent muslims. Even then a high ranking IRS employee tried to stop the focus on Tea Party non profits, but somewhat mysteriously IRS employees were told by superiors to keep what they were doing.
The Republican Party has been like a dog barking at the door of Obama. But Obama has essentially treated the IRS like a piece of meat, thrown it into the neighbor's yard, and the Republican party goes ahead and chases it leaving Obama in peace.
Now all we hear about are these stupid audit results of the IRS in which the IRS overall actually comes out looking decent overall.
will the united states become another brazil 2.0? a melting pot with many racial groups, a large economy but also with shantytowns and crime.
or will 50 million mexicans suddenly transform america and bring a new renaissance in the 21st century?
this is a big experiment with no guarantees for prosperity.
sorry, i posted in the wrong thread.

There is no evidence to support that Obama engineered IRS targeting. In addition, new evidence came out this week that progressive groups were also targeted by the IRS.

Oh, wow, you get your news from NPR, real credible!! An organization dependent on the "guvmint", or should I say our diverted tax money.

I am not "Rational Economics," but I am against any and all taxes. I do not consider myself a patriot, and I could "cheat" the US government out of every dollar I ever "owe" them and nothing would make me happier.
(I use quotes since I don't actually owe them anything.)
I am a US citizen, unfortunately, but have been looking for aplan to renounce my citizenship when I can. As soon as I use the US for their great universities, then hopefully I can get out and never pay the US government another dime (or any government for that matter.) And my dad has $$ so I won't even owe any federal loans.
the United States and their ridiculous tax laws can kiss my a**.

NPR? LOL! may as well be like someone on the right getting out a foxnews article!
you are using an article from government run "news"/propoganda that.....defends the government! well, who would have guessed !!
Of course there is evidence. I'm fine with you defending Obama. Or saying that Republicans were doing it to. But its absurd to deny there isn't evidence against him.
If you believe Obama has nothing to do with the current scandals, including the one involving the IRS - you are just being part of the problem. No president is perfect and most our self-serving, especially during the age of social media. They have to be to get elected, and all are seeking re-election even before they win that first election. If you need and depend on the government, for a paycheck, you will continue to vote democrate, if you do not you will not - if you vote at all. The tide will turn. Even most democrats secretly do not want eight years of Hillary. Do they?
