Insects.
Rats.
Both pretty good answers. My first thought was squirrels just because of how many are run over by cars every day, at least in my area. Now, I'm thinking lobsters because they don't benefit in any way from our existance, and all we do is trap them, take them out of the ocean and boil them alive.
Dogs
I'd go with (non free range) chickens. They're basically raised in a factory and pumped full of drugs their whole lives, only to be killed by machines and eaten by us. Even then, most of their body probably ends up in the trash.
Either cows or chickens.
This one really depends on the geographical area, but in general:
- Cows
- Lambs
- Pigs
- Chickens
- Turkeys
Flys for they are experiencing a genocide by us humans. The instant we see one we want to swat it. Most of them don't even hurt people either.

Are you sure they don't like all that nutrient rich poop we flush into the ocean?
This person is nailed it. Some of these animals are treated better then most pets, but they can be treated horribly depending on the ranch they're at.

Germs that cause bad breath.
Insects don't count, they aren't alive.
Lobsters don't count most of them survive.
Squirrels don't count most of them survive.
I'm gonna have to say Chickens, I agree with OP. Virtually every single chicken is mistreated.
Cows, Sheep, Pigs, all treated better than chickens, but still treated horribly.

Not in the animal kingdom, pal.

Were insects reclassified as viruses or something?

So are they vegetables or minerals?
Minnows raised for bait.
Worms
Chickens. My uncle doesn't eat chickens because he said he worked on a ranch once and was devastated how they treat chickens so he swore off eating them. He is a man's man too. I can only imagine what he saw!
