Under the radar all year. Has improved immensely. Made a ridiculous move on the backstretch and still finished fast. Splits were 54.9 53.12. Video here==>
This kid's gonna be good.

Believe that is number 8 all time (with Arroyo's 1:47.79 at number 6).
What would he run if he ever gets up against real competition? He had a 1.78 second negative split, that means he is much faster than 1:48.01. That time makes him the number two junior in the USA right now behind Andres Arroyo and I have a feeling if Crossley would win heads up.
Note that he has not lost a race from 400-3200 since a meet at the beginning of indoors where it was obvious he was just doing a workout (2:45 and 4:51 or something like that).
Since last year:
400
2012: NT
2013: 48.04 (converted from 47.7 hand)
800
2012: 1:54.48
2013: 1:48.01
1000
2012: 2:37.00
2013: 2:30.34
1600
2012: 4:35.00
2013: 4:13.36
3200
2012: 10:24.50
2013: 9:49.00
Too bad he's going to ECU.

ECU's distance runners consistently improve at the college level. Had two ladies go from 2:12-2:15 range to 2:07 and 2:08. Had 4 guys with PRs from 1:49-1:52.
Maybe Crossley is the guy to prove the program is just as good as the programs always getting the top recruits.
There is obviously something aloof. He is obviously doping.
Seriously. Stop
Aloof?

"afoot"
theres a young man from ohio that is going to pull this exact same time drop next year almost identically and i'd be willing to bet my car or more..... just keep WATCH
Doped to the gills. Somebody make this kid pee In a cup.
You just don't make these kinds of improvements without being on a PED. This is a dirty, dirty sport.
Is the kid from Ohio from a private school in the northeast
This kid will disappear. You can necro this thread in a couple of years. If he wants to seriously run, he needs to go to a serious running school, or an Ivy to hedge his bets, provided he can wangle an admission.

Such dramatic improvement in 1 year in an American athlete where one can buy EPO from a US pharmacy if you know the pharmacist or can buy it online easily without a rx and have it at your home in 1 week?
Or bank your blood with the help of your doctor father?
I have friend who ran xcountry in texas who never broke 16:00 for 5k who did all these things.
This kid is definitely on PEDs. All of them are. I strongly suspect Ryun was on test when he broke 4 in HS just like Nurmi was in the 20s
This site is seriously the worst running site I have ever seen! All this crap about doping and all the cowards that don't have the stones to post their real names. This is what the forums are like with all the local sports teams and all the parents that post crap about players and coaches but don't have the integrity to stand behind their comments! This thread is even worse than some of the other threads that I have read. People are talking about a kid!!! This kid is a high school athlete and people still make these comments. All I see are the opinions of ignorant jealous people. I don't know why I am wasting my time with this post as all the online tuff guys will follow this with more worthless posts to flame someone that has the integrity to stand up for what they believe in.
Coach Johnson
This Ryan Johnson fellow sounds like he is covering something up. Maybe he s the supplier!
I know this is a joke to people who don't have anything better to do but get a life and a set of balls and put your name in your post if you are going to make an accusation. Obviously it is a joke to many but imagine being the kid that worked his butt off to get to that point and then going on to this site to see these comments. The person that replied to my post and the next several replies will most likely be the same. I fear for society..

I'm with you on this Coach Johnson! Keep up the good work!
there is a reason plenty of college coaches (including mine) advise their athletes to stay off this forum.
but if you have thick skin and can ignore the trolls, you'll find treasures within the filth.
so anyways, how've you been training this kid? Thats an incredible time, especially for a high schooler, and it shows great potential. Is he a 400/800 runner or an 800/miler?
