Hey,
as of May 5th of this year I was diagnosed with a stress rise in my cuboid bone in my right foot. For a few weeks I completely immobilized it, when definitely helped with the almost unbearable initial pain. After that I switched to only wearing running shoes to provide optimum amount of arch support and stability. The reason I am posting today is that as basically all of the pain has gone from my cuboid bone in particular there still seems to be a very apparent sense of oddness in my right foot. It is to a point where I really dont think I would associate the feeling with pain but more that it just feels 'off' or not normal. And if I really had to put a pain scale on it from 1-10 it would really only be a 1 or a 2. Im pretty active so ive been very anxious to return back to activity but if I use my foot even slightly too much it only feels more weird, it doesnt necessarily hurt more... for example going on a 1 mile really slow run if I had to put a pain scale on it, it would only increase from a 1 to a 2 in a sense that it simply feels more strange. Idk if anyone has had a problem similar to this or any suggestions on where to go from here it would be greatly appreciated.
