I tried coffee for a while but, I seemed to have chronic diahrea because of it.
Thanks for any tips or ideas. I would nap but, I can't do that lately due to circumstances.

True but I still fall asleep in my cubicle. I'm always afraid I may start snoring.
When coffee by itself doesn't work....
Lift weights. Gets your system cranked up for a few hours.
Troll LRC during the day...
ooops, sorry. I thought you were asking advice on how to stay asleep.
Get up and walk around
Stand outside for a few minutes
Nap for 20 minutes during your lunch break
Get more sleep
Keep a regular sleep schedule (i.e. don't sleep in on weekends)
Run and/or lift weights in the morning before work
Get more sunlight
Take a vitamin D supplement
Drink tea
Drink a carbonated beverage
Start a conversation with someone
Eat a smaller breakfast and/or lunch
Cut down your sugar intake
If none of the above work, see a doctor.
