I came across this film on Netflix because it was mentioned in the Mary Cain/ Mary Decker comparison thread. I've watched the film three times on Netflix and am buying the book on Amazon. I will probably be buying the DVD from the coach's website.
Has this already been discussed on some other thread somewhere? I searched and did not find anything. If you haven't seen this film, you should watch it. Even if you are not an Al Buehler or Duke fan, this film has a rich T&F history played out for us.
I consider myself fairly knowledgeable about our country's T&F history, but to be quite honest, until I watched this film, I had never heard of him. What an amazing story!
