That is appropriate because she has excellent balance. She never trips, missteps, overstrides, leans forward or backward, misjudges a hurdle or anything. Her form is eerily good.
well that's good news for jenny simpson - same coach, same location, close enough talent. Probably JBS knew this would happen and that was one reason she went back to boulder.
as someone else pointed out, among simpson, martinez, coburn and probably a few others, NB seems to hire people by looks as much as speed.

JBS did not know she would sign with NB. Pull your head out of your a$$.

eh maybe I had it backwards - maybe JBS' being in Boulder is one reason Coburn signed with NB. Good point.
Not a bad business model. Asics probably has gotten more from sponsoring Sara Hall than he results would indicate.

Great pick up for New Balance. They have stepped up their game with women's running. They currently have the #1 US 1500 runner, #1 US 800 runner, #2 US 5k runner, and now #1 US Steeplechaser.
Well done NB wrote:

If you follow Emma on Facebook, you'll notice nikeman copied D Monti's photo and posted it as his own and photo tagged Emma. Seems like a lot of work to pretend to be a running insider
Who is agent?
Actually I took the photo from the New Balance press release that was posted on RunnerSpace.

At any rate your math is off as I posted that photo an hour before Monti did, so maybe it was the other way around ?
Since you're looking, did you also notice that Emma herself "liked" the photo that I posted ?
What was your point, anyway ?
I bet NB paid a lot to get her...now they have a royal flush
Yes, one can imagine it, but that only shows the one can imagine many things that are not the case. Hasay will sign with Nike. Phil Knight would not have it any other way. The only question will be if she stays in Eugene or goes to Portland the the Oregon Project group. Also, Coburn fits the New Balance profile and market demographic perfectly; on that level she choose very well.

Wetmore and the latest wave of Colorado kids are getting a little disillusioned by NIKE politics and are starting to look at other opportunities.
I like what NB is doing. Nike covers a lot of athletes. NB is really plucking
The cream of the crop. Not sure what they did to get Emma but I think
They are clever.
