Alan Webb....3:45?
Stick a fork in him...
3:55.28 James Magut for the win he came up on the last lap with Henrik Ingebrigsten of Norway who was 2nd.
LEer 4th 3:56, Wheating, Torrence 5-6 in 4:57
Montoya is overrated. Saarel would've hit 3:58 if he was running here.
Will Leer 3:56
Andrew Wheating 3:57
David Torrence 3:57
Bernie Montoya 4:01.7
Where is Montoya going to college?
Ouch for Wheating. What is wrong with him? Seriously, 3:57? Unless he's been hurt thats pretty awful. He didnt even remotely contend for the win or have a good kick. Solid race for Bernie Montoya, he clearly has not been in sub 4 shape all year so 4:01 appeared to be a very good race for him
Thank gosh the 10k is starting! The meet website is down (which includes the schedule) and letsrun's preclassic preview page (at least the one I remember) didn't list the 10k start time. So happy. Great move, Wejo/Rojo for making this thread! Just in the nick o' time
Bekele looks intense! This is going to be good.
Well, so far no Americans have even tried to run with the rabbits. Now we get to watch the 10k in which no Americans are entered. At least we get the American record holder on commentary!
Honestly, what was the point of this Friday night session again?
Nice run for Montoya.
Why are the Alan Webb fans surprised at the National 1500 results? He's been training for 5k/10k this year and he's switched coaches and programs incessantly for a decade. What event do you want him in?
Bekele's starting line movements look Alan Webbish

He's got his killer face on for sure.
Bernie Montoya is going to Arizona State next year. He gave a gutsy performance, but didn't have a good enough kick in the last 100 meters to break 4. He definitely competed.
