With Duke recruits going 1-2-3 at the Girls' Dream Mile, they look strong for next year!!

Sure.
Meiers and Frazier should be capable of sub 4:14 at least in college. Frazier showing the ability to outkick a mid 2:06 girl ( hannah meier) compiled with her 16:18 will certainly be a great college 5000 runner and could be competetive on the national level in a little while. But we'll wait and see.
with freshman Anima Banks?
So there going to do quite well on there 8,15, and 5k. Anyone know about their throws, jumps, heptalathon, or sprints.
she's the last girl in for the 8 at nationals. so solid things happening for her.
That seems to be a perpetual letsrun myth!!

This isn't a sentence. What are you asking?
Duke always gets great girls but never seems to be able to put a team together-think Rowbury, Meirhofer, years ago, and then the footlocker who champ a few years ago who never ran in a DI meet that I know of.

If you are referring to Brasovan, she had a respectable 2012-2013 if you consider what 2009-2012 looked like. It's not what one would expect based solely off her high school times but taking everything into account it was decent. Though considering what normally happens at Duke I would put all the credit for the good on her shoulders, not Duke's.
they say that every year....but something always happens....like injuries

your question?
Do you mean like the Duke team that won with DMR at Penn in 2005 (with Rowbury anchoring) or the Duke team that won the 4x800 at Penn in 2011 or the Duke team that was 3rd at the 2005 XC National Championships? I'm just confused as to which teams you were referring to in your idiotic post.
Until yesterday i didn't even know that Duke had a track and field team. Thanks for the updates all knowing is half the battle.
Did a PAC 12 school have a better recruiting class than Duke??

Her college running may not have been "what one would expect based solely off her high school times" ... but it is exactly what one would expect based on her build and training in high school.
Some kids-- especially girls-- shoot the wad in high school and never recover. Anyone who couldn't see that Ms. Brasovan was going to fall into that category was blind.
Duke's biggest fault was not figuring that out before recruiting her.
