This makes no sense. Why is track maxed out at 12.6 scholarships when there are 20 events? Likewise why is there a max of 11.7 scholarships available when most baseball teams have 25 man rosters. Meanwhile ice hockey has a max of 18 and football a max of 85.
If a school wanted to focus on baseball or track rather than football shouldn't they have that right?
I understand title 9 and balancing scholarships with the enormous amount that football requires, but what if a university didn't care about football, but wanted other sports to really shine?
