I consider myself a 'true miler', in that I don't really favor the 800 or 3200 more than the other. I have decent PR's in both, but the mile is my best race and my one true love. I run 2 flat for 800, 9:38 for 2 miles, and 4:25 for the mile.
I am pretty undertrained in that I don't really do high mileage (30-40 ish) or any consistant weight work. So I'm wondering, what will make me a better miler? Do I start lifting weights, and doing more speed work, and running more 800's? Or do I start running bigger miles, running more 3200's, and getting my strength up?
