Does anyone have any experience with the Brooks Pure Cadence? They look good. I'm talking about the originals not the 2s. What are they like? Good or bad?

I tried the pure connect (obviously not the cadance) and I thought it was a terrible shoe. Just producing shoes along with the fad...
And I have the Pure Flow 2, which has a similar (if not identical) upper at least. The sole is fine but the fit in the upper isn't great: the asymmetric lacing means the shoe doesn't hug the foot well, creating a boxy feel in the forefoot (and I have a fairly wide forefoot).
That's the big difference between racing flats and "minimalist trainers." More width, especially in the forefoot. My feet are quite wide, so I love them.
I'm on my 3rd pair of originals, haven't tried 2nd edition. I love them, mainly because I don't have knee pain with them, unlike several other shoes. They say 250+ miles. The sole is soft and will wear out by then if running on pavement, so I say 225-250 miles for me.
