Salazar is good at getting 10kers to run fast 1500's, but can he have success with a true 1500 runner? Ulrey hasn't performed to his apparent potential, O'lianard (spelling?) is out of the Oregon Project, Webb was a bust in the NOP, Centrowitz had a good Olympic year, but from all accounts that had little to do with Salazar, since he joined shortly before London. This year, he doesn't seem to have done so hot (yet).
There is no doubt that, at least at the beginning of her career, Mary Cain is a true middle-distance runner. If she ends up going pro, will Salazar be able to handle her, or would she be better off elsewhere? I hope she goes to college, personally...
