Dear Runners,
My husband, Timo Yanacheck, and his dear friend, Jason Dorgan put on an annual race called the Kettle Moraine 100. There are 100Mile and 100K races, occuring Sat. June 1 - Sun. June 2, 2013. I work at the start finish aid station, also known as the Nordic Aid station, just outside of LaGrange, WI. My aid station is open from about 4PM on Saturday June 1 - 12 noon on Sunday June 2.
A record number of runners are registered this year, so we need even more wonderful volunteers than usual!
While I am especially looking for night owls who enjoy staying up through the night :), I'd love to have you come and help for how ever much time at whichever time you choose to come! The busiest time at the aid station is Saturday from 4PM - 12 midnight. After that it is a steady trickle. The later runners in particular really appreciate our being there to support them in completing their race safely and successfully.
Even if you can't help me, Jason and Timo are looking for help loading the truck on Friday May 31 in the Madison area, at packet pickup at the Nordic Shelter near LaGrange, WI, later that afternoon, and then helping tear down at the race sites Sunday June 2 and unloading the truck again in the Madison area later Sunday afternoon.
We are very excited about putting on a quality event directed by volunteer race directors. If you can help out, it will be appreciated by me and the runners. It will be a great experience for you, too.

if you can help us!
Thanks much -
