I also think it is stupid ("Just ate at Subway. lol!") to post messages about every tiny detail of your life. However, I fixed the problem: I rarely use my facebook account and have never tweeted nor do I have an instagram account. Problem solved. :)

Actually, I'm just pointing out that people should keep their thoughts about boyfriends, girlfriends, celebrities, and football to themselves. You should ask yourself why you are so interested in this.

I'm with OP here. I have quit facebook for this very reason. When people are hanging out with their friends, and post on facebook that they are hanging out with their friends, it just makes it very weird.

I don't have Facebook either, but how can you be "real tied of everyone posting every worthless second of their lives on these social websites" if you claim you are never on such sites? I don't frequent such sites, hence am not tired of "stupid drama".

I hate it when you are at dinner and everybody is on their damn smartphones. They are addicted to that piece of technology.

I go over to a friend's house, they check their facebook account. I try to have a conversation with a relative and they are busy tweeting something. If you do not deal with this on a daily basis you are the minority
I run trails, and I post pics of my dinner on my trail running blog.
I just posted a picture of the dump I took.
It's like people are so busy putting their life on the internet for other people to see that they miss out on actual real life. It's rather ridiculous.
It's the world of the Super Self Absorbed.
You get people to see you the way you want them to.

Why do grown women and men in the 50's wait for the awards ceremony? What do they plan to do with an 8" trophy?
Why do parents let their kids go out in public in pajama bottoms?
Why are children so fat these days, and parents so willing to let them be fat?
Why are 5k races three times per week, when 10 k races used to be the norm?
Why are walkers clogging up the finish lines, when some runners are trying to get a PR? Move!!!
