I'm so frustrated right now. Spent all winter building a strong base for Outdoor Track but got injured after the second dual meet. Just standing on the sidelines watching everyone else race is really getting to me now. I mean, I do like watching my team race but it's gone on too long. My body feels perfectly fine and ready to go but I can't. My leg is still recovering from its stress fracture. I yearn for the days mid-season where it seems like you're tired all the time: by the time you recover from one hard workout or race, there's another one coming right at you. It sucks because right now my PRs don't match up with my ability - for any distance. My Track season got screwed up and, for the longer stuff, I've been racing on really hilly courses. Anyway, I'm hoping this is the trough - I should be back on my way up in no time and I should have decades of good running ahead of me. Thanks for your help LetsRun!
