My brother went from 5:42 in the championship meet of junior year and 5:11 the first meet of senior year.
What's the biggest improvement of this type you've ever seen for someone who's run track all four years of high school?

Juniors: firm boobs, tight skin
Seniors: flabby skin/boobs, more money
What are you talking about, Willis?
It's clear. Younger women have firmer boobs and skin and the elderly women have floppy boobs.
I went from 431 to 414 in the mile from junior to senior year... in college.
There's a guy on my team who went from a:
16:40 XC 5k
9:35 ish 3k
4:30 1500
2:15 800
57 400
Junior year to
15:55 5k XC
8:40 3k
4:00 1500
1:57 800
50 400
Yeah, but what about high school?
My junior year; Has sex with my sophmore girl friend.
My Sr. year; Had sex with my Sophmore girl friend's, friend who was a junior at another school. cha ching!!
Haha you're so funny.
Oh wait, you're not.
Amber trotter.
As a junior: ran 17:36 for 7th at nationals
As a senior: ran 16:24 for 1st at nationals
A minute and 12 second improvement on the same course.
Not sure if this is even remotely close the biggest drop ever, but I went from a 10:42 3200 junior year to 9:33 senior year. Also went from 18:36 pancake flat 5k roads during the summer to 15:54 easy cross country course by the Fall, all at elevation. Did not run as a freshman or sophomore. I did play soccer growing up, and also played tennis in high school.

Oh, okay. So not really answering the OP's question. Gotcha.
Not that you contributed anything to the thread whatsoever, but the subject line clearly says biggest improvement seen junior to senior year. Good bump for the thread though.
I went from 4:43 my first year running as a junior to 4:12 (1600) at the end of senior year. do i win something for that?
You win the interwebz.
But thanks for answering! It's just because I currently suck at running, but at the end of this year I started getting a lot better for reasons unknown and I'm wondering if I have a chance of getting a big improvement.
My times (I promise I'm not trolling, I know these times are slow, especially for a guy) have gone something like this:
Freshmen year: 6:37 PR, 6:45 average
Sophomore year: 6:38 SR, 6:42 average
Junior year (this year): I had 7 races. These were my times:
6:34
6:33
6:31
6:32
6:17
6:11
6:04
So I'm hoping that means something.
