Men's 5k was pathetic. Aaron Braun was the only one who went out on the pace and was working all alone way in front of the field as the rest of them were a bunch of ________ and sat in a pack running too slow ... aaaand no one gets the standard.
I don't understand it, all the OP guys just sitting there in the pack knowing they're going too slow instead of getting out there and working for it. Maybe if someone had gone with Braun they could have all worked together and had a chance.
Farah and Rupp were useless. Farah sat in LAST for the beginning and didn't take the lead until the last lap ish. I know he was just in it to win, but he could have won leading too and helped teammates Ritz/Puskedra out. Rupp didn't rabbit anyone (even his own teammates) and didn't finish. Why even bother running? Geez if you're in there at least help your teammates get the time. Ritz and Solinsky did pretty much all the leading for the chase pack.
Was really frustrating race to watch especially since I was really rooting for Solinsky/Ritz to get the "A".
