I understand the importance of V02 max pace (3K-5K pace) lactate threshold (10K-half marathon pace) and easy pace for recovery.
But I'm confused about paces above 6:15/mile (LT) in my case.
We toss around terms like aerobic threshold, steady-state, high-end aerobic, or Daniels even has a "marathon pace" I believe...
A lot my work in the early phases of training involves running in this grey area between LT and easy pace.
I have found that 5K pace + 1 minute is particularly useful...is there a principle behind that?
