Track is almost over and I was wondering what you all think about taking 1 full week off and then the 2nd week run maybe 3 or 4 miles every other day before begining a base for XC.

Take the break if you need it, mentally or physically. There is no point in sitting around on the couch if you're itching to grab your sneakers and go for a run. A week should be plenty of time if you aren't super burned out from track season.
