That's a Pandora's box that WADA shouldn't open.

but it is a great reason for WADA to stop testing for recreational drugs totally.
If the athletes can't snort up I don't see why it is allowable for coaches, managers, officials and others.
I love a bit of herb, but only a nut would get high before competing. I tried it in low key races as a young man, and it dulls your focus.
That being said, I did have a pal who won a 440 IM hurdles race in 53 point back in the late 70s. He smoked a bit of hash and told me it relaxed him!

And others should certainly include all WADA/USADA/USOTC officials and all testing lab employees. Mandatory testing of the rule makers and testers would be sure to create havoc.

Now, losers can be even bigger losers without getting busted?
That's not relevant to the discussion. Your views on whether not smoking marijuana makes someone a "loser" has no bearing on whether or not use of the drug should get someone banned from athletic competition. I might think you're a loser for listening to stupid music and wearing socks with your sandals, but I don't think you should be banned from that liberty.
Cocaine is a stimulant that seems like it has the potential to boost performances. Aren't fighting dogs given cocaine before competition?
Hold up Benevolent Dictator, this appears to have not gone into effect yet. The title of the thread is misleading as it appears it won't take effect until 2015??? or they will decide at the end of 2013???
