I don't disagree with Letsrun that Lalang is the favorite and that Casey will go with him, but what about Bayer? He's the defending champ and a very tough competitor.
If Lalang pushes early, I fully expect Casey, Bayer and several others (Masters) to be there at least through 1000. The key will be how fast he's running. If we see sub 2:55 it'll be a different story, but that depends on what kind of schedule Lalang runs.
