OK, stupid me, I wore a pair of brand new shoes to work last week, and very early in the day, my left foot started aching on top of the arch by the ankle. By the end of the day I was limping. Ever since, my foot feels like it's severely bruised. It's not swollen or discolored, just really sore to touch or move certain ways. Last night I was awoken by such pain that I almost cried. It was ALL over the foot...in the heel, shooting badly to the toes, on the top of the arch, on the outer edge, it was excruciating! I was desperate for relief, willing to try anything, so I got up and walked on it, which did help some, but to lay back down, the only position that gave it any relief was to just lay flat on my back, with the back of my heel on the mattress, toes pointing straight up. Later during the night, I turned onto my side and the pain immediately came back until I again positioned the back of my heel flat on the bed, toes up. Today, I put on a pair of Sketchers Go Walks and to slide them on near the arch was again very tender and painful, and it's uncomfortable to walk. Help?
