Today I ran 6 x 600s between 1:42-45 w/ 90 second rest
Yesterday I ran 14 miles avg 6:01 pace (first 5 miles of the run was avg. 6:18 pace, then cut-down)
Last week I ran 66 miles and have been in the 60s for about a month.
Two weeks ago I ran 12 x 400s at 70-71 w/ 60 second rest and that was my first time on the track in 3 months.
I've been on the track maybe 5 or 6 times in total, including today, this year; 9 or 10 in the last two years.
Point being, I'm way more of an endurance runner and just getting my feet/speed back under me the last couple weeks. I felt satisfied with how quick I was able to do 6's today, let alone after a quality 14 miles the day before.
My race is in 3 weeks, and I plan to continue 2-3 workouts and 65-70 mpw until then. With this progression, what should I shoot for at this 5k and target my remaining workouts/paces toward?
