He is excited to get the chance to run in such a strong field and is looking forward to the challenge.

Have not heard any chatter about pace expectations yet but we are still about 12 days out.
Rudisha already has the North American All Comers and meet/stadium records at 1:41.74
With out a title sponsor I don't see DL going deep in the pockets to toss out enough cake to get a sub 1:41 attempt going.
I hope they look at 1:43.5>1:44 pace. Since I'm a Sowinski fan am hoping he get to 200 to go with a 1:44high> 1:45 in sight.
While I am usually about running for place I think ES would be better served looking to run fast and get a sub 1:45 PB out of his trip to NYC.
Plus looking at the business side of things I'd expect him to have a bonus for sub 1:45 in the contract and it would be real nice to pick it up first time out under the NIKE banner.
He won the IAAF World Challenge meet in Ponce this weekend in 1:46.5...

Bosse is in this field? Would be interesting to see how Sowinski does against him. Where is this list from? I don't see Bosse listed in the NY 800 entry field on the diamond league site.
that was an early list

Love this. Great to see an athlete not afraid to step up and race.
PS: Paging Nick Symmonds...? Wish he was in this, it would be great to see what he's got in the 800 after his 1500 win last week.
Willis is now out. It would awesome to see Robby go big in front of a hometown crowd.
Sowinski 5th place 144 mid Andrews high 145 dfl
Add Mike Rutt to the field.
If this DL meet was not in the states would Robby Andrews be in the field?
umm.. yeah he's doing pre 800m a week after the adidas grand prix, with a much better field assembled... just fyi
