In a time trial from the gun, Rupp. I don't see Rudisha running 3:34 or 3:50 mile, at least right now.
However, if they run together for a 3:00 1200m, I'd say Rudisha. Depends on the kind of race.
I would not be surprised to see Rudisha kill a 1500m in the next few years, despite his 400m credentials as Coe had very strong 400m credentials as well and broke 3:30. kaki ran 3:31 after a 1:42, though not in the same years, and Rudisha'll give us more evidence if he runs a 1k this year. by the way, contra brojos, he's not "moving up" to the 1k. That means switching events permanently.
