Yes. Cayla is update.
She's on their XC roster but not their track roster.

What does it meeeean
I believe Track and Field News had a blurb a month or 2 ago that she left school. No specific comment to her future plan. I'll check later today and post again if I find what issue it is in.
I've been wondering about her, Cami Chappus and Sarah Collins, the seemingly only freshman stars who haven't shown up during outdoor. Laura Hollander resurfaced after indoor though, so that's cool
discussed here, unsure of accuracy

The reports of Cayla Hatton leaving Stanford are not accurate. I hear from a reliable source that Cayla has neither left Stanford nor the sport. She is on a medical leave for this term attending to health matters. Apparently she was dealing with multiple medical issues through the fall, even while having an excellent XC season."
The kiss of death is for a top Female runner to pick Stanford they seem to get worse and not better once enrolled at Stanford. Kind of like Arizona Basketball and U$C football great recruiting and very very crappy coaching.

Not always true. Didn't Amy Weissenbach break the women's 800 school record a month ago?
Why would you even respond to pac12 fan?

because I thought he/she was being serious...was that a mistake?
eh, "medical issue" is often a veiled attempt at hiding the fact that one has an eating disorder.

my thoughts as well, in this context. hope she recovers if this is the case.
the pressure had to be really immense for her as she ran 32:17 I believe in high school.
Actually 33:17. The video is still up.
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
