Need to have two Haglunds deformities removed from the rear sides of both my heels. Can someone recommend a doctor in the Denver/Boulder area?

Personally if I was going to have surgery, I would have someone who went to medical school do it. But that's just me.
I had a bilateral Chilectomy with Dr. William Williams at Boulder Orthopedic that I am pleased with.
However, I am hoping a friend of mine who experienced a bad outcome with the Haglund's surgery will chime in on this thread before you pull the trigger on this particular procedure.
This is the place where all the European soccer stars come for surgery. Steadman is one of the best knee surgeons in the world. I wonder if they could help you?
Yes I have an appointment with Steadman Hawkings next week with a doctor who is a marathon runner and has completed many of these procedures. I have two bone spurs on the outside of both my rear heals. One surgeon I have spoken with and seen stated she can pull the achilles tendon (AT) to the side and remove the deformities. I do not want my AT cut whatsoever. I am curious if I tell the surgeon this and have the procedure, then find out they cut the AT what actions do I have? I would rather live with the problem and try home remedies than recover from a AT repair.
It's worth it to travel anywhere for the right surgeon. Dont rush into things without getting a lot of opinions first.
Seen Dr. Josh Metzl yesterday at Steadman Hawkins. Was not very impressed. Kept on referring to reinforcing the archilles tendon. I told him I did not want the procedure if there was any chance they would cut or nick the tendon. The bone spur on both heels are on the side of the heel. Another surgeon stated she could pull the tendon to the side to remove the spur. Dr Metzl also stated the recovery would be nearly 3-4 weeks longer than another surgeon stated. Now thinking of having an MRI done to see how much the archilles is in the way.
