No doubt he is capable of 143.high
Uh Oh! This is gonna be embarrassing for Centrowitz!
I wish he would be in a more stacked heat. I predict 1:47 but I bet he is capable of 1:46 low or high 1:45 with a better field.
5 will get you 10 that Centro is a DNS.
Seeing that he ran a 3:50.92 indoor mile within the last year, he could probably manage a quick 800.
I'd like to say 1:46 ish.

If Rupp ever runs a 1:45 I will cut my dick off BME pain Olympics style.
Rupp will run no faster than 1:48.
He may be able to run 3:50, but he's a 5k/10k guy and it's his first race of the season.
Let's be realistic here, folks -- Lagat ran 3:26 (doped, sure, but whatever) and isn't his PR still in the 1:46 range? Sure he probably could've gone faster, but if he could've gone THAT much faster, he would've.
Rupp is an animal, and his speed is incredible when paired with his strength. But 1:46? Yeah right.

Not sure if serious.
If rupp really does have 48 speed he should run 1:45 range
1:47.96
yes!!!
my dreams came true.
145 is my prediction. the dude is fo real.
but he's a 5k/10k guy
exactly why your prediction sucks.
145.
Kickers race. 1:48.23

Why wouldn't he be serious? Not too long ago there were a number of folks on here arguing that Rupp could beat every American at their specialty from 800m through the marathon.
Gave me a good chuckle.

that was me!!
Rupp peaks twice per year.
He peaked in March. Shut it down and then began building up for an August peak.
This is his first race of the season. He is not going to be sharp and he is a 5k/10k guy. He ran 3:50 off of strength not speed. And that was when peaked.
This early in the season running 1:48 would be very good. Peaked in August probably capable of around 1:47 flat.
That said, I would not be surprised if he runs faster. His speed has come a long way in the last year and a half.
Rupp could dominate these amateurs but I suspect he will run it as a workout and take it easy. I predict 1:46.8
Interesting. Anyone know when the last time Rupp ran an 800M? I know he ran one in college. Was that the last time?
I suspect however that he and Centro are doing pacing duties to help some guys achieve some times.

All-Athletics has his PR as 1:50.00 from four years ago.
