I'm 5'8"-ish. Like every other facet of my life, I am average.

6'7 in a heartbeat. Men's job is to protect women, at 5'7 you can't even punch. At 6'7 you're pretty invincible in any street fights. Just think about it, Mike Tyson is 6'4 or something and he's arguably the GOAT of heavyweight boxing, had he been at 5'7 he wouldn't have even been in the ring (might well be competitive in flyweight, though).

Actually Mike Tyson was closer to 5'7" than 6'4". He was listed at 5'11" during his boxing career but many other places listed him as 5'10". Was a great fighter!

Okay, my bad. Still, I would argue that 5'11 is in fact closer to 6'7 than to 5'7, even not mathematically so. At 5'7 it's very difficult if not impossible to throw a killer punch, but it's totally a different story when you are a few inches taller.

What? Punching is a matter of hip movement and correct body mechanics.

Ryan Hall is that you?
Why would any male not say 6'7"? You ever met a 5'7" dude who doesn't curse his height or have a complex about it?
If you're 5'7" in the U.S. as a male, you're in the 21st percentile, so not that out of the ordinary. If you're 6'7" you're in the 99.952 percentile in height, so 1/2137. In Sweden, if you are 6'7" as a male, 1/196 people are taller than you. So, not that rare (avg male height is just over 5'9" in the U.S., but 5'11.5" in Sweden). In Sweden, a 5'7" male would be around 7th percentile.

6'7" easily
Bad
Your life span will be shorter
Trouble with clothes
You could be a big dufus (much depends on your build and looks)
Clothes, cars, seats generally not suited for you. Ergonomics would suck
Good
Potentail for physical prowess in major sports( b-ball, NFL, MLB)
Your Johnson would be proportional to height
Commanding presence
You could be a major stud (much depends on your build and looks)
I would easily choose being short, unless I could make real money off my size in acting or sports. Clothes are near impossible unless you want to wear XXL Walmart shirts. Shoes are near impossible to get unless you shop at big and tall stores and you will have to pay dress shoe prices for them.
Also fitting into cars, seats on buses or trains is going to be difficult. Then your food bill could be close to double that of a short person, especially if you are muscular or fat.
Why would anybody want to be either? I'm 5'9" bare feet and 5'10" in shoes. I think the perfect height for any man would be 6 feet bare foot. Tall enough to not be considered super short and small enough to not be considered a freak.
Me thinks you should take your homosexual fantasies baiting somewhere else.

And what animal are you gonna use that extra 12 on? Sure isn't gonna be a human female
1+12=13
Not unreasonable
5'7", as someone who is like 5'6" or 5'5" it's a vital upgrade.

Well, he isn't entirely wrong.
Being taller means heavier weight, and heavier weight means better power, hence stronger punching.

It's well known that Tyson was short and listed at 5'11" despite being 5'10" at best. Literally no person who has lived at 6'7" beats a prime Tyson. Most people at 6'7" are very unathletic and would do way worse than a more average height male. Also, the tallest guy in the UFC blows and he's 7'.

At 6’7 your getting laid for the curiousity factor. And all the 6’ Ladies will peruse you because you make them feel small and girly. . At 5’7, 90% of the population considers you undateable.
As far as basketball, you still need some skill to play DI and a crapload to play in the NBA/overseas but you need to be a 1:100 skill wise versus a 1:100k. Think of how many million guys there are under 6’1. Look at how many of them are in the nba.
If you had the choice, 6’2-4 would be most peoples choice. Or go really tall and be 7’ tall. There are like 100 of them in the US. They all get DI scholarships? the ones with any level of BB skills get NBA ones. Granted you are also well off into the, you don’t fit anywhere club. I don’t know how many people have been next to a legit 6’9(I.e. measured at the predraft combine) guy but that is huge. Anything above a legit 6’5 is really noticeable.
