Do you have questions I should ask adidas Director of Running? Let me know

I've run with adidas shoes, and like them. Believe it or not, I got them at Costco, and they were cheap, like about $25.

Now that Adidas is making a resurgence in North American popularity with new technology and meeting current trends in design, will the traditional narrow, Adidas lasts remain or will wider forefeet be seen with the new models?

Why do these companies keep releasing these gimmicky "energy return" cushioning systems which feel like running on a mushy marshmallow and which do nothing to protect you from injury (e.g., Boost, MoGo, Lunar, etc)?

Why do the companies keep trying to get serious runners interested in their gimmicks with their advertisements which only really work on the hobby jogger?

Why does Adidas rely mostly on a stable of sponsored athletes from Africa?

This was on my mind as well. They have not done a very good job supporting American athletes. The only American athlete sponsored by Adidas that I can think of off the top of my head that was at the Olympics this last cycle was Uceny. That can't be right, but that's all I can think of.

Is there any future for McMillan Elite? They have not added any athletes in over 2 years and currently only have 6 athletes on their roster?

When will they go back to a mainstream lower (heel-toe) drop road shoe in 4-8 mm. range, more like they had in the 1980s? This is better than the current 10-12 mm. drop clunkers. The big drop shortens calves, & tends to aggravate PF problems. (I like their 6 mm drop trail shoe).

Will you reintroduce the original Adios shoe (the yellow one)? The successor to it sucked.

Are they making a racing version?

Could the increased bounce effect cause more injuries? You can add I quite like Adidas as they have decent arch support even on lighter shoes

Why did Adidas exit the cross-country ski boot/binding market. They changed the world with their boot/binding system in the late 70s-and a decade later they were gone.

When are you going to make enough of the SP Prime (Tyson Gay spike)?

If you're Bolt/Powell/Ryan Bailey size (anybody really think Usain wears size 11 or smaller?), they always seem to be either back-ordered or not available.

Is your company an enabler of wide spread PED use in the ways in which your competitors (e.g., Nike) are?

Here is what their email seemingly is hyping: "Following the recent release of adidas’ newest running innovation, Energy BOOST, the brand is unveiling the next iterations – adistar Boost and adios Boost."

obvi anything they can tell us about the changing status of the business - how athletes having their own sponsorship will change things, why adidas thinks it is better to have one large sponsor, what athletes need to be doing to make themselves more marketable, do they think it is good for the sport to have shoe companies dominate - the ground seems to be moving on this...or is it?

On a personal note - love the narrow adidas fit - I hope they don't change it.

If you want to get off on the wrong foot (to mix metaphors) - ask if they think it is appropriate for them to push clothes with the adidas "marijuana" logo.

i feel the same way about the Mana 5s...why did you change the 6 & 7, the 5 was perfect!!!luckily i picked up several pairs of the original Adios you're referring to when they changed the Mana...

Question: What is their position on TUEs? Quack shopping? Would they sponsor suspected users? Would they put research money into pharma enhancers?
