LetsRun very much believes in the importance of world cross country and is going to Poland to cover the event next week. We thinks of xc as being the soul of distance running.Anyway, we are trying to reach out to a few of the top players that are running for the US to get a pre-departure interview of them to generate a little bit of buzz.We reached out to Tom Ratcliffe - Teg's agent - and asked if Teg was still going considering he missed Gate River last week after irritating his hip while running the 5k in New York.Ratcliffe wrote back the following:
Ratcliffe wrote:
"Matt irritated his hip in NYC and had to withdraw from Jacksonville and the World Cross ... He's fine, but had to take a week off running ..."
We imagine a USATF release will be coming out soon.
The next guy on the list in terms of finishers would be Luke Puskedra. Six of the top 7 finishers at USAs were going before Teg's setback.
