Dude, he didn't duck anything. He was never going to run Milrose. He was schedueled to run the 5000 in Birmingham, England. The meet directors cancelled the race after several people pulled out because the meet was televised and they didn't want Rupp just out there running by himself.

First he said he was unwell. Then he said there weren't enough pacers. At the end of the day, he ducked.
