Impossible to say. Everyone is different and there are too many factors to account for. Male/Female? How old are you? How long have you been running? What's your mile PR? What's your current training like?

I just ran a 4:37 off of 7/7/15/15 mile weeks the past month. But when I bump up my mileage to 30/40/50mpw (double/triple) my time will only go down fractionally.

I am 14 years old and 88 pounds. 5 foot and 2 inches. I run about 12 Mpw. during offseason it was all aerobic work with 12 miles per week. now during track practice I practice 4-5 times per week while running about 7-11 MPw but that is a guess. and on Sundays I do a 2.5 mile run ontop of my practices. My mile PR is 6:35 My 2 mile PR is 14:10. My 5k Pr is 22:40. My 800 PR is 3:10.

Okay I was going to say that you can run really a lot of intervals and do like 18-20 miles a week, but 7-11 is way too low. At least get up to 25mi/week running 5 times a week. But really don't kill yourself with intervals. That won't help you in the long run. Yeah build to there.

And put on some weight. Somehow. I know a lot of runners look like twigs, but 88lbs is kind of low. Especially for a young teenager who is developing

I broke 6 minutes in the mile around 20 miles a week. It might take you more or less. Best of luck.

In 8th grade I ran 5:27 for the 1600m off of maybe 15miles a week, lots of time trials, a few 2mi easy runs

Now I'm a high school senior and ran 4:26 1600 junior year, 15:24 5k senior year

That's not completely unusual. If he is 14 years old (especially early 14), his body is still developing. Skinny but not crazy unless he's got food issues. I have a 13 year old who is 5'7" who hovers between 107-108 right now.

yes, I am in my early 14 year and my body is still developing. I am very weak. Like I latterly have no muscle. But my metabolism is very fast. Im gonna work to 20 MPW to get to my 6 minute mile
