That is a classy move and one of the first steps to making this a true community. I have a lot of beef with the BroJos, but they are now in my favor. Great stuff and if I could I would buy you both a beer.

One of the best things I have seen on Letsrun, but was the Lance dig really appropriate in that article ?
Good Article! But yes the Lance stuff is getting quite old. With such a great tribute going to a man that passed away in the past month, did they really need to do the red line out of the 7 time Tour champion? Grow up BroJos!
I liked it too. I had not heard the story or read any of the threads before now.
I enjoyed reading and viewing the videos. Gave me more of an insight to Will and what he was thinking. Very surreal. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
Well done. Thanks. A truly inspiring story of Will Steele's strength, dignity and humor.
Awesome tribute. I feel honored to have been quoted. I'm sitting in my cubicle and had to wipe the tears from eyes several times.
Weldon, well done. Amazing how we take our health for granted until we lose it. If you can even run, ENJOY every one of them!
Agreed. I haven't been on here in quite some time, but I am glad I signed on today. I still think they have a long way to go, but this was a fantastic first step toward dignified respectability. I would like to see more of it.
What an extremely well done piece that filled in the complex lattice work of Will Steele's last months. This was very likely the best editorial in the history of Letsrun.
I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the piece.
I hope more people take the time to read it.
Bravo Letsrun.
Definitely agree. As a cancer survivor, it really hit home and made me realize that we're all lucky to run and probably take it for granted far too often.
I've been sort of on-and-off about this site, but this was really great, despite the unnecessary jab at Lance. Kudos.
Great interviews, and really enjoyed the stuff on Ken Martin as well.
Thanks for sharing his story. I never had read his posts before this story. I'm sharing it with other running friends I have outside of this forum since they will be able to relate to it on some level.
Nice tribute. Nice job, Brojos. Will's story has to be the most influential of all time on LetsRun. He passed with the greatest of respect from all corners of the running community. God bless him.
I enjoyed the article, but when did he die? You have his birth/death down as 1976/2012, but then you also dated the article as Jan. 24, 2012. So did he die a few weeks back (still in 2012), or more recently?
Been following Lets Run for many, many years. This posting, was by far, the best EVER on this web site. Fantastic work, BroJos. Each day is all any of us ever has - celebrate it fully every day.

He died one month ago. December 24, 2012
Weldon wrote most of the article at the end of the year (2012) but we didn't quite have it ready to go up before he went on vacation. We wanted to get it right so we waited until he returned and then decided to do it on the 1-month anniversary.
We've changed the date of the article from January 24, 2012 to January 24, 2013
Well done, brothers.
Will's life sends out its ripples.
Well done WELDON!
