It seems that position is what the QB position used to be for minorities. Whereas now thee are many more minority QBs, there was like one or zero minority Offensive Coordinators. Why is that?

Thank You

You could ask Jim Caldwell. Look for him on the Ravens' sideline Sunday evening.
You won't find Caldwell on the Raven's sideline this Sunday.
Right you are. He'll be up in the booth, where the OC sits.
So that's 25% of the conferance championship teams have black offensive coordiators.

So we there is 1 out of 32 teams or 3% roughly when the number of minority players is like 70%? Why is that?

Far from it.
It's no more than a handful, although I don't know the exact number.

Doug Pedersen - KC - 12 TD over 10 years with 4 teams as backup QB
Mike Tice - 3 teams in 4 years as a backup TE
Bill Musgrave - backup QB - 3 teams over 5 years with 1 TD and 2 INT
3 others played in the arena league, 1 other in the CFL.
Not a single one had any kind of success as a player.
My name is Lance wrote:

I think the minorities who would like to be NFL offensive coordinators / playcallers give a sh&t. Just guessing though.
The fat white guy hikes the ball to the smart white guy. He either hands it to the juiced-up black guy or the short black guy, or throws it to the fast black guy or the tall white guy.
Meanwhile two fat black guys, a fat white guy and a fat Samoan try to tackle them, blocked by the original fat white guy and a few other mainly black fat guys.
A big white guy, flanked by two big black guys, stands behind them. Two fast black guys and two tall black guys guard against the pass.
If the offense fails to move the ball, the fat white guy hikes it to the Polish white guy who kicks it downfield. But if they are close enough to the end zone, he may hike it to the smart white guy who holds it while the Mexican kicks it through the goal posts.
On the sideline, a fat, middle-aged white guy rants and gesticulates, assisted by a few other fat guys of various colors.
And who sits up in the owners box?
That was brilliant.^^^

Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
