you know its a lot easier to race when you are trying to hang on to others than if you are looking at your watch and trying to calibrate yourself every 5 minutes. this holds true esepcially for 99% of africans (Tadese being the lone exception)

Honestly, I don't think any of them are but I certainly am not sure.

I expect the javelin is the most likely clean one, and also maybe the high jump.
Both are mostly technique and don't require enough mass or intense training for steroids or HGH to make a difference.
None of the current running WR's are clean except maybe Komen's 3k/two mile.
I believe the men's 800 meter record is the only clean record in the books.
I am probably going to get bashed for this but Marita Koch (W/400) was clean.
Her line of fit suggests she woulda been able to run 47'2. Her 200 time shows that she had a lotta natural speed talent.
yes jos hermens sends his athletes to spanish doctor for revolutionary homeopathy
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/athletics-claims-over-a-doping-network-are-crazy-says-hermens-425356.htmlnothing suspicious there

Here is my say:
Mens:
800 (unlike some of those other guys, Rudy can look very innocent sometimes)
1500/Mile (El G - I HIGHLY Doubt that Morrocco and Spain are smart enough to 100% protect their star athlete, especially that almost every other of his training partners got busted)
Marathon (Makau - Someone who needs a lot of recovery after a marathon is basically saying he doesn't need drugs to run fast)
hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Quite a number if East German coaches said something along the lines of "we doped them all, some responded, some didn't, and some got better after we stopped doping them".
Arguably she had the talent to win clean, but why would she be 'the one they never doped'?

Which ones do you think had banned substances involved and which ones didn't? Answer honestly.
The only POSSIBLY clean outdoor ones, IMHO:
Aries Merritt--110 metres hurdles--12.80
Sonia O'Sullivan--2000 meters--5:25.36
Ditto the mens LJ and TJ records, but those are not running events.
Colin Jackson's 110m hurdles record, 12.91 in 1993 was clean I reckon.
I would like to think that Bolt is clean, because I believe that it would be pretty devastating to the sport if one of the only household names outside of the running community was busted.
That being said, I think that track world records are legit in the 800m, 5k, and 10k. Can't really imagine that the 1500m and mile aren't dirty. Don't know enough about the other events to feel good weighing in.

At least wiki it
Clean on women's side 5,000m and marathon
Clean men's 800m 5km, 10km , marathon
... or none
Once you think how many were obviously doped though it reduces your belief in the rest
I'm definitely not clean - time to take a long shower.
I don't believe any of the women's world records are clean. 10.49 100, 3:50 1500, 2:15 marathon? Give me a break. The only women's wr I would even think about being legit is the 5k.
I think the Men's 400 Hurdles, 800, 5k, and 10k records are legit. El G was an obvious cheater and even his training partner got caught. Michael Johnson is the biggest bullsh**ter in t&f history. And bolt is...well he's Bolt. 9.58, do I need to say more?
ya MJ is puke tv
roger black must be sickened( if he's clean )listening to all his BS
mens 5 and 10k clean hmm
remember that 2hr standoff in dublin with bekele at the 2002 wcc when the epo blood test first came in
maybe it was against his religion...
his agent jos hermens sends his athletes to spanish doc for revolutionary homeopathy
yes jos you were niave ..haha

most records are clean. however...
Womens 100, 200, 400
anything by communist East German athletes (disc)
Wang Junxias records
So basically all women's track records under 5K are dirty.
It depends on your definition of dirty. If you mean which records were set by individuals who never used banned substances (at that time), then, there's definitely a few. If by dirty you mean set by athletes who set them using substances at any time of their careers which have ever been banned, or, will be once they're identified, then none. Not a one. Maybe maybe maybe Kurous records - for some reason, probably just out of wishful thinking and the fact that I met the guy and liked him, I believe he might have been clean. Probably not, though.
I think a related but interesting question is what were the last clean records - if any?

His records defy belief...so yes you are probably right
does doping help in the HJ? Ukhov was jumping drunk, and Donlad Thomas jumped 7'3" in basketball shoes, ie talent is everything.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
