on the track straight flexin'!
WOO!
Interesting. I could see Galen beating him in one of two events at the WCs (probably 10k). Farah might still improve but we know the momentum is in Galen's favor from here on out.
Rupp's asthma meds are doing him well/
I was skeptical before, but after all this Lance stuff, I'm convinced that any top level athlete working with Nike is on drugs.
mo is no spring chicken at 29y
everyone has a peak & then it's a slide down
maybe he has had his peak ?
based on last couple of years form, yes an a+ rupp can take out b+ farah.
rupp was A+ at maybe 25% of his races - while farah, about 75%.
if rupp is still on the upswing and farah is backing off (probably a good idea) then rupps odds go up significantly.
can't wait till Salazar, Rupp, Mo and Ritz sit down w/Oprah!!
After the Olympics, every race is Farah's to lose. But (hopefully) it won't be long before Rupp realizes that -- having beaten everyone else when it mattered -- there's no reason he can't beat Farah too (and not just Farah out of shape, but Farah at his best).
Anyone else find it quite condescending for Mo to comment like this? 'I'm out of shape, not at my best even that slouch Rupp could beat me'. Not a nice comment about a stable mate, whatever his intent was.
It's January, who cares.
That's a pretty funny comment. He's just joking with Galen.
But it does show that the two of them probably believe there is a hierarchy in performance between them. Really makes you wonder if Galen could have gotten gold in the 10k if he had believed in himself a few seconds earlier to sprint like he did.

The USADA had a huge amount of evidence on Lance. Did any of it show any connection to Nike at all? Nike was never involved in bike racing to the extent that they are involved in track. Heck, Farah and Rupp do a good deal of their training at Nike Headquarters. When Lance was winning 7 Tour De France's, he likely did no training at Nike Headquarters.
People that post here like to talk about a connection between Salazar and Lance. The two didn't meet until after Lance's last Tour win.
he is clean in contrast with the Ethiopians.
>6 months ago he beat the best in the world (twice) in the OGs, and now he's a has-been? if i recall correctly, during the Competitor.com interview with Salazar he was asked what Rupp would run at the OGs in 2016 and stated he'll do the 5K/10K as he thinks 30-31 is the peak age for those events in his opinion. not sure if i agree, but i think with all the medical/training/nutrition advances, we'll see guys extending their peak years out. maybe we already are - meb is 36, felix sanchez won OG gold at 34, angelo taylor made the olympic team at 33, gatlin was 30 and won 100m bronze, etc. not saying you'll be in world record shape at older age, just competitive longer.

I wish peep would stop talking out of their arses. Nike controls USADA, Nike pretty much owns USATF which funds USADA. Do you not see the pattern smarty?
Also, Lance has trained at the Nike Headquarters, many can attest to that. That doesn't mean however he was using anything while there

Who knows maybe that might happen! Most pro athletes are doping in some way...but you will never it happen to the Africans! That would be racist so they just all scuttle back to kenya, get drunk and fall out of balconies.
Zero accountability while the real Americans get in troubl efor dopin gbecause this country is savage and barbaric.

They'll sit down and snitch on Schumacher's group.

Using your logic, then the USADA would never have gone after Lance because he was Nike sponsored. Clearly Lance being brought down was not good for Nike.
I give you a big fail on your reasoning.
