Why is Lance so adamant he didn't make others dope? Is that part tied to his lifetime ban?
Has he admitted to any part of the administering and trafficking yet? Those would be the most serious of the USADA charges.

Cant wait to watch him in some ironman events soon
I'm sure some of the fanboys will jump back on board, but the press won't let it go and will continue to tear him apart (ie, claiming he didn't dope after 2005).
I agree with Mr. Sullivan about the 8 year doping ban and Lance hoping the ban will go back to 2005. I don't see any chance of WADA or USADA going for it even if he gives names and specifics under oath. Plus, Tygart is convinced he was doping during the comeback.

Over 50% of the air time is commercials so far BTW.

Good luck with that one.
Kevin Sullivan wrote:
So, am I crazy or is Lance claiming that he didn't dope after 2005 in the hopes that his lifetime ban will be reduced to 8 years, applied retroactively to 2005, thereby making him eligible to compete in....here it comes....2013.
That might make sense. Before doping LA could not climb and could not time trial. Who can compete for TDF wins? Those who can climb and time trial.
Rojo, this whole interview is a sham.
Think about this: hes the leader, and he wants the others to be sure to keep up with him. Its evident that the implication is that if the leader is doping the other better be. Besides, its safer for everyone if they are all doping. So its all a big lie. he was a jerk and a bully, so of course he demanded that they dope too.
Whats even more pathetic about this "interview" is that over 20min into it she hasn't even asked him when he first doped!
She doesn't know enough to ask him to take her thru a full calender year of when he was doping, how he got the drugs what he physically did, inject pop etc.

Lifetime ban for a start.
Not sure why I'm even touching this. I was never enamored with any of it, nor tri.

someone suggest criminal liability...I don't buy it[/quote]
I'm not a lawyer, I was just surprised that it wase needed to lie about that repeatedly. I thought criminal, because the person could get a serious disease because of the drugs. He was in a position to hire and fire and therefore used his power to do something like that.

So early in the interview he says there were clean riders in the tour..
Now he is saying he didn't believe he was cheating because it was a level playing field.
That's NOT a level playing field, Lance
"It just flowed."
The EPO flowed, the testosterone flowed, and the blood flowed.
He's 42, he's not going to a factor in any big Triathlons or marathons.
I think his motivation is to come clean, move on.
But, I have been wrong about LA before.
why does it matter if he doped after 2005 or not?
konaman wrote:

I agree. I don't care what he took. He is a talent and most people in his position would have done exactly the same thing.
I didn't get the "I'm happier today" than i was then comment. What?
On an unrelated note, i liked this David Esptein tweet.
David Epstein @SIDavidEpstein
"EmmaO'Reilly diary showed Lance had lowish redbloodcell% which suggests more room to dope than the next guy. equal doping is a myth "
Lance has a blood profile which meant that he benefitted way more from doping than others.
The idea that he was on a level playing field is totally false.
Most cycling insiders say he'd never have won a tour even if everyone was clean.
