Not brand new/ inaugural event, but only a couple years old: http://runbucks.com/id1.html Haven't done it but heard good things about it from others. Same day as the Philly Marathon, so that might be a consideration. If I hadn't (at least for now) retired from running marathons, I might think of running this one. |

Yes, the Banff Marathon is new, June 23. I can't think of a more beautiful place in the world to run; they have a 22k race in September that sells out in 2 hours every year. This marathon looks amazing, however I found out from the race director that the course isn't certified. Still looks cool: http://banffmarathon.com/ |

Someone has applied to hold a half marathon down Clear Creek Canyon (US 6) finishing in Golden, CO. I don't think it's been approved yet-but it's supposed to be in the fall sometime. |
