Oh come on man! We are just commenting on a public figure's media-reported fall from grace. Get over yourself please. And by the way, she is a salesperson, a realtor, and a public speaker, so it is not as though she hasn't profited off her celebrity thus far, and led a reclusive private life in her second career. She is what she is, and this just extends the histrionic personality to a higher level.

And how many of the top girls are 44 years old? I am not an expert but I am guessing that $600 isn't cheap in vegas. It is more midrange. And if you wanted the full 24 hour experience was was 6000.

I like the fact the husband, He tried, he tried to get me to stop. He wasnt supportive of this at all.. Is he a bad spouse for not supporting his wife?

And how would feel if you won the "Suzzy Favor" award as Big 10's female athlete of they year this year?

I am a Nevada native and I can tell you this: The top-end gals in Las Vegas (the ones that cater to the Arab Sheiks, Japanese billionaires, etc) go for a lot more than $600. There are gals in Las Vegas who won't give you the time of day for less than $5000 and up.

The whole "#3 gal in Las Vegas" is pure marketing hype.

Suzy is a cheap lay by Las Vegas standards.

This is very distressing. Reading everyone's posts, I see that there are people who are distressed by this news, and there are people who are giving each other 'nice bro!' high fives, and there are even a few people who think that somehow she was just 'meeting her needs'. There is simply no dignity in prostitution, and everyone wants and deserves dignity. Sex is a wonderful experience that is dragged through the mud by people who separate it from intimacy and love and caring. In addition, having many sexual partners spreads disease and makes it harder for one to ever have a meaningful sexual relationship. I am begging you, really think about what you are saying and its consequences. Sex is never 'just sex'.

You're right but I was referring to the fact that her "secret life" is what's crazier and crazier and for someone who presented as straight all her life she's clearly gone down the rabbit hole doing the Vegas/hooker/bisexual path.

I do feel sorry for her. I don't need to know her.

Nope. I mean, I think teens are the most into such stuff, for sure. But many adults, of both sexes and all sexual orientations, have a celeb or two they get fired up about. In the last two years, I've heard different adult women (professional, have-their-crap-together women) go on about George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Apolo Ohno, and Enrique Iglesias. For the guys, it was Jessica Ennis, Scarlett Johanson, Miley Cyrus, and Enrique Iglesias. If celebs do nothing for you, cool, but there are many many people who feel otherwise, so be careful of equating how you feel with how most people feel.

Doubling down on the inclusion of Enrique Iglesias made me laugh, well done!

Yep, that's what I'm worried about. My guess is this will leave her estranged and very depressed. And people are mocking her for sport. I don't know why the husband stayed with her, but, of course, we don't know all the details. the child will suffer no matter what. And that is the greatest sadness of all.

Nothing that any of us say here has any consequences.
And that explains why most posts read as they do.

Okay, there are a few posts that have consequences, either for known people posting under their real names, or stuff like the Kip Litton thread, but those are the rare exceptions. I mean, what could I write here that would actually impact my real life or someone else's ...? Almost nothing.

Point taken, but her actions and the (prior to today) responses to such actions on the part of those much closer to her than us have appeared to have no effect on her behavior. So predicting such a tragic end is not supported by her own behavior. As someone else mentioned, she will most likely simply profit off this story in a tell-all apology book and talk show tour, and we will still be sitting here commenting on this board on an unrelated future running-related topic.

Bro, judging from the responses here in on Letsrun and Yahoo I would say she's worth considerably more than 600.

Also she probably could play the MILF/cougar roll quite well for some adult film studios and make considerable money for a few years after she writes her tell all book "don't do what I do".

She's 44, and well when she made her decision to do this, she should have realized the consequences. Now she has to change her life.

She's set financially. She might not deserve the fame or money, but she can get a lot more from this since thats what she's after.

I also think its funny how many women who go down this path in college and seem to think you can settle down and just become a regular mom/wife afterwards. Rarely thats the case in my experience.

Child Please, the dispute you two are having is merely over the definition of 'crush'. I believe that you are using it lightly as signifying a sexual attraction and maybe delusion that you like their 'personality' which you could not possibly know, not having really spent time with them in a non-media way. R U cereal is using 'crush' to mean the beginnings of a romantic love, which is much more than sexual attraction. It is a deep desire to be around someone and have them like you. In this definition, sexual attraction and wanting someone sexually is only a fraction of the crush. Fantasies involve intimacy and closeness but not necessarily sex.

She will probably wind of divorced, there will be a serious custody battle, and the child will suffer the greatest damage. If she offs herself, then that is the ultimate selfish act, more selfish than some tell-all book deal. What is the point of mocking her and devoting a black page to a trashy story, complete with "R" rated pictures that some 14-year old freshman is getting titillated by as we speak?

She mentions being prescribed Zoloft after suffering post-partum depression. I went on Zoloft several years ago after what I now realize was a lifetime of depression. It worked and I also felt "better than Ive ever felt. Unfortunately it worked too well. After years of being pathologically inhibited and shy because of my depression I suddenly became this different person, a very extroverted, exhibitionist, and risk-taking person with incredibly poor judgment. Whatever popped into my head at the time seemed like a great idea and I went with it. Specifically, I went to the clinic with STDs, to bankruptcy court, to jail. Eventually I went off Zoloft, after lots of damage had been done, and now deal with my depression without medication.

She's not using this as an excuse but if her experience with anti-depressants was anything like mine then maybe it's a reasonable explanation for what seems like completely out-of-character behavior. In any event I'm not going to judge her.

I'm not saying it is dignified, but I do believe you are projecting your own attitudes and beliefs about sex and universalizing them. Things are different for different people.

Wow! I knew her a little bit when she was in Eugene back in the early nineties. She was super friendly.

I will say that more women than many on here might suppose have this fantasy. It might be because they were abused, or are kind of cuckoo, but, it doesn't have to be. A woman I knew in college worked as an escort for a while. I don't know for sure, but I believed her when she told me that she hadn't been abused and she didn't seem to be suffering from any kind of mental illness. Like most women, she really liked sex, and, in our weird society, was able to get paid to have it.

I'm no moral crusader about people choosing to be escorts, but for her to be doing this stuff when she knows it is hurting her family is about as sad as it gets. She has shown some troubling behaviors over the years. Hope she gets some help.
