My point was just that both she and Lance benefitted and profited from deception. Both Lance and his apologists are justifiably ridiculed on this site, and I feel people who try to sugar coat her actions or apologize for her deliberate and repeated choices are just as much in the wrong. I acknowledge there are dramatic distinctions between Suzy and Lance, and if you want to credit her for at least owning up to this (unlike Lance) then I agree with you on that point. |

Yes, it's nothing more than enjoying "getting off" and also picking up some damn good cash while doing it. She obviously has a high/very high sex drive and needed regular satisfaction. This way she could have that need satisfied and benefit financially. Only in the U.S. and Muslim countries would this be a big deal. In Europe, they wouldn't give a shit. Personally, I don't see a damn thing wrong with what she did and would have no issues if she continued. Live and let live. |

Or she would have been that way 25 years ago when I knew her. I bet he put this plan up for commercial possiblities. That dude saw dollar signs in her 2 weeks into her freshman year. I knew her only to the extent that I saw her on a nearly daily basis for 4 years and might have had 5 brief conversations with her. I know bi-polar people. My sister is one. Suzy was always the same when I knew her and I doubt she was on medication back then. Half her team was OCD, eating disorders. She was always nice and kept herself apart from the team. Except for her close friends. She might have kept this inside for years but that is something I never heard of. But I suppose it is possible. Nonetheless I hate seeing this. She is a good person. If anything I don't like her being joked about. I just can't believe she would go off the rails this bad. No one would ever have predicted this. People with these problems have them from an early age. She showed no signs but like I say, she was not out among the team much and stayed with Mark all the time. But she had roomates and lived with people I knew much better and their were never indications she had any mental issues. Like 3-4 of her teammnates. Word gets around quick with that stuff. |
