Any word on michigan head? Heard a rumor about Jerry Clayton at Auburn? Also what about Women's head at Illinois?
Hadsell will never coach again in the college system.... Period
No, see, he's not good. He had inappropriate relationships with athletes and drank on the job. These are the opposite of good. Considering how many qualified candidates are out there, I see zero reasons to take a chance on a guy who is a liability and not good.
Thanks Jesse. We appreciate your "expert" anal - assist.
looks like Toledo cleaned house and fired all the assistant coaches under Hadsell including Ari Fisher. Also Sara Vergote is no longer a coach at Iowa State. Are all coaches who were associated with Hadsell unhireable because they may have known what was going on and did nothing?
Lori and Emma. Stop posting.
Illinois still searching for a Head Women's Coach correct?
What about Oklahoma Assistants? Word has it, it is down to 2 already.
Nicole Bush at Furman

UUUHHHH...No...Ari Fisher came back to Toledo from graduate school to Coach for Hadsell and agreed to stay and help Coach Jin until they found another head coach. She is going back to school to get her doctorate in biology.Coach Jin has been a coach for 22 years and is retiring. If Toledo had wanted to clean house because of your so called stupid summation they wouldn't have waited six months to do so.
I know that they have the pro distance group at Furman and that's fine but they have absolutely zero coaches who coach something other than distance. How would you like to be a field event kid or sprinter. interesting approach.
Furman has no real interest in any other athletes beside distance runners. Throughout the years they have had some other athletes besides distance runners, but no one of a high talent level. Why spend the money on an assistant to coach other events, when there may be 2 people.
Kareem is going to Texas now opening at Missouri University.

Interesting, you say, and yet distance only is indeed the approach at Furman. The charge is to create a distance power at the collegiate level and accompany that with the post-collegiate group.
They will not hire non-distance coaches, as they are actually in the process of phasing out all other athletes from the program. So, your question about being a sprinter or field eventer will not apply.

South Carolina job was filled at NCAA's (no announcement yet but fact)
OU job is going to bring out some surprise names as final candidates.
With a budget like they have its going to bring out the best.
Whats the word on South Carolina distance job?? any final candidates?
Saw that Millikin is looking for a director of xc/track. Anyone know the story there?
So what does this say for the future of the Clemson Men's distance program? School doesn't recruit distance runners and hires a coach that comes from another school that doesn't recruit men's distance runners.
Anyone heard anything about what's going on at Illinois or who the candidates are for head coach?
Any rumors about who Walt Drenth is considering to fill the throws position at Michigan State?
The school wants to recruit 50 plus kids/year. The coaches didn't do it this past year, so they were asked to leave.
Unreasonable.
