Brevard is looking for a Cross Country Coach? What happen to the previous coach? Got a better job? I thought Jack Daniels was at Brevard?

I could be completely wrong but I think that the posting at Brevard is merely a formality. They are just moving people around. Jack left before this year and is back in New York.
Brevard posting is not a formality. Cason is out as he was only signed on for one year and Witek is just in for another season or two to right the ship.
There is an openning for assistant distance/xc coach at the University of Cincinnati. Old distance coach is retiring. New coach will take over men and women with some talent on the men's side to work with. Nice building job with a lot of potential.
The three top college coaching positions right now are:
1. Ron Allice - Retiring from USC
2. Tony Sandoval - Giving up title of head coach
3. JJ Clark - Fired from Tennessee
JJ Clark has not been fired
Jj Clark hasn't been fired so that is incorrect. They would not fire him right before SEC if they were going to do it and if the school was smart in my opinion.
Ron Mann just retired so a position is open at Louisville. Associate head has been elevated so it will just be a assistant job.
U Albany posted an assistant job not sure what events.
Who left at Albany? Just saw an assistant position is open.
Buzz or Drelan out?

Louisville is such a better situation than it was in 2004. Jurich has to have the best reputation of any AD I have ever heard about. He works to take care of all of the sports, not just B-Ball / F-Ball.
But the new job will probably be shuffled down to an entry level position on the staff.
Current Staff
Ron Mann - Head Coach
Dale Cowper - Associate Head Coach / Throws
Terry Winston - Assistant Coach / Sprints & Hurdles
Taryn Sheehan - Assistant Coach / Distance/Cross Country
Joe Walker - Assistant Coach / Distance/Cross Country
Joe Walker, Jr. - Assistant Coach / Jumps
Lindsey Cook - Director of Operations
Director of Cross Country and Track finally opened at Toledo..

Speaking in general, it is funny to me how a bunch of coaches seemed to have tremendous succes (NCAA Champions and so on) at previous places of work, but NEVER in their current positions that they held for years.....
Whenever I check coaches profile about 60% of them claim previous NCAA Champs, most of them never mentioning the names. But in the 10+ years, at the places they held positions NONE, harldy any qualifiers...
ps: what is even worse are those that have been volunteer coaches at a program, and when they get a job they claim every succesfull athlete the program had during their time there, in every event:)
Keep faking resumes people, great job

Which job did you not get?
Add suny brockport. I dont know if the posting is just a formality.
I've never applied to be a coach but I do read the bio's on coaches who come into programs.
A lot of Mick Byrne's (spelling) assistant coaches when he was at IONA left and took other jobs saying they coached 15 all Americans and blah blah when it was actually Mick doing the coaching.
Some do go on and become a great coach. Some go to another program and do absolutely nothing.

Talk to me about Sadoval - staying on, but stepping down? This year? I hear Ed Miller is on leave for ankle replacement gone wrong (yikes). In the PAC-12, USC, Cal, and soon, too, WSU will all be getting new head coaches.
What about coaches that say they have been on teams that have won NCAA titles but never contributed a single point! Yet those guys go on to become head coaches. Sounds to me like you only dream of being a coach that can say he has been around 1 all American let alone 15. Go play somewhere else....hater
You can believe what you want.
I wasn't hating as I stated SOME go on and actually coach great teams. There are SOME who don't do any anything. Like in most cases.
Maybe go troll somewhere else? You made yourself look like a hater from what you just said.

Hah, I will believe Rick Sloan (WSU) is retiring when I hear it from his mouth, or when he drops to the track dead. That is one guy I would not be surprised to see coach until he physically cannot anymore.
